NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT RAILWAYS. TENDERS FOR SOLE RIGHT OF ADVERTISING AT RAILWAY STATIONS.

Head Office, Wellington, 26th November, 1900. WRITTEN TENDERS will be received at this office up to NOON of WEDNESDAY, 12th December, 1900, for the sole right of advertising at the various stations on the following sections of the New Zealand Government Railways, with their extensions, for a period of five years from Ist January, 1901 : Whangarei, Auckland, Wellington-Napier-New Plymouth, Hurunui-Bluff, Westland. They must be addressed to the Minister for Railways, Wellington, and marked outside " Tender for Advertising on Railways," and must also be accompanied by a marked cheque on some bank for the specified amount, in favour of the Receiver- (ieneral's Deposit Account only, and not to bearer oi order. Specifications and conditions of contiact with forms of tender can be obtained at the railway-stations at Whangarei, Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth, Christchurch, Dunedin, Invercargill, and Gieymouth, and at this office. The highest or any tender not necessarily accepted. By order. T. ROYNANE, General Manager, N.Z. Railways.
