REVIVAL OF DEAD ORGANISMS
REMARKABLE RUSSIAN RESEARCH FILM (Rec. 10.55 a.m.) London, Oct. 19. A remarkable film showing the revival of dead organisms was exhibited at a conference organised by the Association of Scientific Workers. Produc-
ed by the staff of the Medical Research Institute at Voronej, Russia, the film shows blood drained from dogs and then pumped back after they had been dead for 10 to 15 minutes. As soon as the dogs’ hearts and lungs resumed functioning, the animals were restored to normal health. The film shows them running round several years later. They even had offspring after the experiment.—P.A.
