Skipton’s non-appearance to-day is disappointing, but the horse is all right and his connections do not consider another public appearance necessary before the Cup. Great Britain was br ’liant in the Guineas trial at Men'one yesterday and covered three furlongs in 35secs, a rack record. He is to be ridden by H. Badger in the • Guineas and Derby.—P.A.
