FIR TREE BLOWN OVER
PARKED CAR BADLY DAMAGED A fir tree blown over at Enner Glen by the strong south-easterly wind on Wednesday evening crashed onto a car which was parked under the tree. The car, which was owned by Mr G. Higgins, was severely damaged, the hood and bodywork being badly flattened by the trunk of the tree which was about 2 feet in diameter. Mr Higgins and two friends hud left the car only a few minutes before.
