PLANE CRASHES
CHURCH SET ON FIRE

LONDON, sth August. A blazing bomber aeroplane attached to a territorial living squadron clashed on to the roof of St. Mary's Church at Castle Bromwich, near Birmingham. The church was set on lire and destroyed. The pilot was injured but managed to scramble out of both 'plane and " church before they were fully ablaze.
