(Received sth August, 9.35 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The State Council of the federated enginedrivers' atid firemen again agreed that immediate steps should.be taken to end the coal dispute. Members took the stand that' negotiations should be opened with colliery owners and that the unions should be prepared to compromise.
