HIGHEST NUMBER SINCE 1891

The Commonwealth Statistician reports that, the number of sheep in Australia is 106,000,000, which is the highest since 1891. Of. these 53,000,000 are depasturing, in New South Wales, 17,000,000 in Victoria, and 18,000,000 in Queensland.
