Melbourne, Monday. The action of Corr ver.sus the Standard Insurance Company of New Zealand to recover the insurance on the schoor er Alma, which has beeu proceeding for a week past, was concluded to-day, and resulted in a verdict for the plaintiff for ihe full amount claimed. Sydney, Tuesday. Bandsman Yatea of H.M.S. Bacchante has been sentenced to two years' irnprisoament and dismissal from the aervica for desertion.
