Hawker, who was entrusted with the formation of a new Ministry consequent on the retirement of the Hon W. Morgan, bas intimated to the Governor Im inability to complete tbe task, and the Hon John Cotton has accordingly been uummoued by His Excellency to undertake the formation of a Government. Sydney, Wednesday. In view of the continued absence of fresh cases, there seems every reason to believe that that the smallpox has been stamped out.
