Adelaide, Friday. Town flour, £10 5s to £10 10s ; country brands, £9 ss. Wheat 4s .0d to 4a 6d, with little inquiry. Freights to United Kingdom from Adelaide, 45s ; from outports, 47s Gd. Sydney, Friday. New Zealand wheat is to-day quoted at 4s 2dper bushel ; maize, 2s lOd per GOlbs. The markets for brandy, kerosene, rice, sugar, tobacco, and candles are unchanged. The steamer Ganga has arrived here from Levuka. She reports that a destructive h ur ricane has occurred there. Two steamers, the Reva and Go-ahead, winch were lyiug at anchor in the harbor, sank at their moorings. The destruction of property is very great, bat the loss of life is not known, as the Ganga was unable to communicate with the shore before leaving on account of the heavy sea. ' A summons has been issued against Beckett charging him with setting .fire to the warehouses in Barrack-street last month. , Melbourne, Saturday. Arrived: Tararua from the Blu/I". Telegrams are to hand announcing that the steamship Ridge Park, 1200 tons, has been wrecked near Gabo Island on the New South Wales coast, while on a voyage from Adelaide to Sydney.
