Dec. 24, steamer Wanaka, 276, M'Gillivray, for Taranaki and Manukau. — steamer Wakatu, 78, Evans, for Wanganui aud Wellington. — steamer Murray, 78, Williams, for Wellington. —_ 4 The Grafton arrived from Wellington at 11 a.m. on Saturday, bringing about 70 ex. •cursionists. She returns there this after. noon. The Wakatu sailed for Wanganui and Wellington at 10 p.m. on Saturday with a goodly number of excursionists.The Penguin leaves Wellington at noon to-day, will arrive here early to-morrow morning, and sail for Picton, Wellington, and South at 4 p.m. The Wanaka arrived in harbor at 1 p.m. ton Saturday from Southern ports with a large number of passengers and about 60 excursionists. After landing 50 tons of cargo she sailed for Taranaki and Manukau by the same tide at 3 p.m. The steamer Northumberland, which arrived at Wellington yesterday, was seen and signalled by the Wauaki on Christmas morning near Cable Bay. What she was doing there en route from London to Wellington bas not yet been explained.
