The Wakatu sailed for Wanganui and Weilinpton, at 8 p.m. yesterday. The Lyttelton leaves for Blenheim at five o'clock tiiis afternoon. The Kennedy is due at West port from Nelson to-aay. • , _. The Charles Edward arrived from Wellington this morning, pnd leaveß for West Const ports at 4 p.m. to morrow. The Murray yesterday reported the channel at Greymouth as undefined, but hopes to enter thrre to-doy. The Albion has resumed running once more. She arrived at Melbourne from the Bluff yestei day. The Patea is announced to sail for Pateu via Wellington to morrow. The Taiaroa left Wellington at noon today, will arrive here tomorrow morning, and sail for Taranaki and Manukau at three o'clock in the afternoon. The Tararua will be the next steamer for Sydney, leaving Auckland on Tuesday. Passengers will be forwarded to her by the Taiaroa tc-morrow. The Hawea arrived here last night at 11-30, and came iuto harbor at midnight. She left Onenunga at 11 30 a.m. on Tuesday, and arrived off New Plymouth at 7"30 a.m. yesterday; landed mails, passengers, &c, and sailed for Nelson at 9-30 a.m., arriving here as above. Strong S.W winds were ex perienced while crossing the Straits. The Hawea sailed for Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton at 1 p.m. to day.
