Adelaide, Wednesday. The Treasurer made his Financial Statement in the Legislative Assembly last night. It showed that the revenue for the pasfc finaucial year amounted to £1,831.000, being £245,000 below tho estimate, and leaving a debit balance of £243,000, exclusive of £30,000 appearing on the supplementary estimates. He estimated the revenue for ihe present year at £2,013,000, aud the expenditure at £1,945,000, leaving a deficit of £175,000, which will be covered by new taxes. Tbe latter will, however, be deferred in view of the elections, wbich will shortly take place. Melbourne, Wednesday. M.
