H&lI-).^-i.h_s Bill; ; instituted an Act to amend the Counties .Act, 1876, is framed for the purpbse of' giving extended -meaning td certain phrases in the original Act and to more clearly define the powers of jcottrtty councils in administrative details, Jit is provided^ that the* exprefssidn "Public - Works" in t^e Act, of aliy Act atneiiding the same, shall include works fbr the ' purposes of water supply, irrigation, aiid i drainage of lands.
