Melbotjbne, Monday. It is reported that the police are on the track of the Kellys, and preparations for going out after them are being made. Tuesday. In connection with the report that traces of the Kellys have been discovered, it has transpired that a large body of police has left Benalla (a township near the Strathbogie Eanges, where the Kellys have for some time past supposed to be hiding) on special service, but particulars regarding the same are withheld. According to the latest advices from Mauritius freights to the colonies are at 25s to 30s. The stock of sugar is 1 0,000 tons. Matjbitius, May 17. Sugar is firmer. Nothing has sailed since last advices. Tonnage to the amount of 8000 ii now loading.
