After nine weeks' medical treatment it wag declared necessary hy Dr. Macgillivray to amputate the injured k limb. At that jurcture the txtract was applied, and the wound speedily cured without amputation. The daughter of Mr Junghenn, suffering v from disease of the bone, rs pronounced by Dm Atkinson and Boyd, was curei just as speedily. Cures of wnooping cough, very severe colds, croup, bronchitis, diptheria, earache, pains in the head (neuralgia), inflammation of the eyes and that of a severely iDjured foot ; others of bad legs, wound on the arm with enormous swelling, ol severe brnises and a sprained ankle, (H. Brown), in which case eight months' medical advice wai of no avail, are reported by tLe " Donald Times," " Newcastle Morning Herald," " Cooktown Courier," " Yorke's Peninsula Advertiser," and others. The extract inwardly taken, regu'ates the action of the kidneys, cures dysentry and diarrhoea, and is tbe surest curative agent and preventive of contagion in ecarlet, typhoid and intermittent fever, For particulars see testimonials accompanying each ottle.
