Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr I J. J. Hart. We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very eyeful chemical analysis and examineiJoa. The results of tbs analysis, which are se forth in a separate report show thai this spirit is of good EtreDgth, practically free from acidity, und that it contains but races of solid matter ia eoluti n. Jt possesses a delicate and figreeaUe aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr lUirr's licl-iicdam Bchnappa is a very superior ariicle of its class, ia well purified, and is quit6 genuine. (Signed) 11. Slr.—l have the honor .to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from any trace of font or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in thi» respect compare s favourably with other samples offered for aale. It may be advised as equally* suitable for medical or economic purposes.
