[From a correspondent.] Wellington, Tuesday. Messrs Pitt and Richmond presented the petititiun, praying for the release of Newman Bosley, to the Governor thi3 morning. His Excellency said he would at once refer the matter to the Minister of Justice, and hoped in a short time to give a reply. They then waited on the Minister of Justice, and fully explained the nature of the case to him, upon which he promised to have the matter looked into as soon as he received the petition from his Excellency.
