CORRESPONDENCE.
To the Editor op the " Evening Mail." Sir— Under the direct insult offered by Mr Shephard to the Waimea electors I hope they will avail themselves of the Constitution Act, which provides that if a petition of twi thirds of tho electors is presented to him he must resign his seat. If he does not, the same can be presented to His Excellency the Governor, who has the authority to make him retire. If you can fiud room for this you will oblige Yours, &c, E. Ork.
