LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
Wellington, Wednesday. In speaking on the address in reply Mr Waterhouse spoke for an hour in condemnation of the Government, characterising their whole policy as a system of hypocrisy, and denouncing in detail all their administrative acts. Colonel Whitmore replied in defence. The address was then agreed to.
