Sir,— l have been much astonished at the wonderful fulfilment of Captain Edwin's forecasts from time to time published in your journal. Ueing myself somewhat wcatherwisc, especially in regard to the day before yesterday, lam sure you will confer a benefit upon the public if you will publish the following timely warning :— Watch gasometer ; bad weather approaching.
