The Awaroa arrived from Wanganui last night, and returns there op. Thursday. The Ledy Barkly leaves for Golden Bay at 5 o'clock this afternoon.
The Lyttelton leaves Blenhein for Nelson to-day. The Charles Edward was unable to leave Holcitika today owing to the dangerous state of the bar. The Kennedy left for Westport at 12 30 p.m. to-day. The Wallace leaves for Wanganui at 4 p.m. to-morrow. The Torea has been placed on the cradle near the Commercial Wharf for the purpose of being clpaned and paiuted. The Wellington leaves Onehunga to-mor-row, will arrive here on Thursday night, and sail for Picton and Wellington at 10 a m on Friday. The Ringarooma arrived at the Bluff from Melbourne yesterday. She proceeds from Wellington to Sydney via East Coast ports on Saturday. The Waitaki arrived in harbor at 7-30 a.m. to-day, having left Picton late last night. After landing and shipping a few tons of cargo, she sailed for Picton and Wellington by the same tide at 10 a.ra.
The Chaudiere is making slow progress with her cargo at Wellington, and it will be the latter end of tbis or the beginning of next month before she sails for London. In consequence of certain irregularities in the loading of the vessel the services of the chief officer have been dispensed with and a new one shipped in his place. The Union Company's time table for September is the best yet issued by them, consisting as it does of 16 pages of* closely printed matter. In addition to the arrivals and departures of their fleet of steamers the table of the Orient Lice of steamers up to January next is given, besides the English mail dates via San Francisco and Suez up to the end of the present year, and a guide to the New Zealand railways. The starting signals to be used by the Company's steamers in future are also given.
