Melbourne, Friday. A fire broke out to-day fore and aft on Board the ship Anemone at Snndridge, lately arrived from Liverpool. The ship was scuttled. Great damage was done to the ship and cargo. Robert Hawker an Oppositionist, has been returned for West Bourke by a majority of fifteen. An important modification ia the Tariff is expected. Sydney, Friday. Hennessy's case brandy 32s 9d, cask 9s 3dNew Zealand oats, 2s 9d per bushel; other linea unchanged. The Anstrian corvette Heligoland brings a collection of geological specimens presented toy the Austrian Government to the Auckland Museum. The vessel eventually proceeds to Auckland. Adelaide, Friday. Wheat, 5s to 5a Id per bushel. Beisbane, Friday. The obstruction of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly still continues, and the House has been sitting without adjournment Since Wednesday. Later. The Assembly adjourned after a continuous sitting sitting since Wednesday at 1
o'clock to day. The obstruction by the Opposition will probably be resumed on Monday.
