TO THE EdITQB OP THE 'EVENING MAIL.'
Sib — I read your remarks upon the Richmond Agricultural Show of last Wednesday with great regret, as well as your notice of it in this day's issue. But regrets and angry discussions will not remedy the evil. Therefore I beg to suggest that the Stewards in future Shows appoint a Sub Committee in each district, who will visit each of the residents in their respective districts and ascertain what each one is willing to exhibit, and who will then inform the Stewards of such bona fide exhibitor, and what he intends to exhibit. Also that the aforesaid Committeemen visit such intending exhibitor to see that the intended exhibits are prepared in time for the Show, t venture to say that if such a plan is adopted they would then know what to prepare for, instead of going to great expense at haphazard as heretofore. There is nothing then would cause a failure but incleuienc wtraiuc. x „„, April 30, 1879. "-^ckOh*.
