Mr John R. Mabin reports that at his sale to-day at the Nelson Auction Rooms there •was a good attendance, and bidding was spirited. He sold a chestnut gelding, broken to saddle and harness, thoroughly staunch, 1 years old, for £13 10s; pony, £7 10s; bay xaaxe, £5; grey horse, £4 15s.
