HORTICULTURAL SHOW.

As usual at the Autumn Show there is a most teniptiug display of fruit. Grapes, notwithstauding the ravages cf oidium, are amongst the best of the [exhibits. Two long tables are loaded with apples and pears, whilst plums, mulberries, and cherries are well represented. Five very tastefully arranged baskets of fruit grace the centre table, and the Judges must have had some difficulty in awarding the palm. {Although the exhibits of flowers are not numerous, they are very good. The Btands of asters are exceptionally excellent, aud the dahlias quite up to the mark. The show of vegetables is rather better than usual, some very | fine onions, cucumbers, carrots, and turnips I attracting especial attention. Both flowers I and fruit are well arranged, the Hon.
