A fire occurred in Elizabeth street on Suaday night when three premises were partially destroyed. Three firemen fell froth a verandah, and one was taken to the Hospital. The failure of M'Olure and Valentine, wholesale grocers, i 3 announced. The liabilities are £100,000, but it is said the actual deficiency dues not exceed £20,000.
