It is refreshing to Qnd Ladies and Gentlemen who. in gratitude for the relief brought them, either go to the trouble and expense of publishing the fact, or writing to their friends, telling them about the SCOTTISH HIGHLAND OIL, or in the spirit of trae gratitude, visit the afflicted, and show them how thci r agonies may be appeased and their sufferings alleviate!. Already a long list of names have been enroled, and it is my desire that all who have been cure<! shoul 1 senJ me their address, not for publication, but as a satisfaction to my own mind, and as a just tribute to the Oils. I think thsre canuot be any fear of being accused of exaggeration alter reading the testimooials published, and those cow appearing, to say that in the experience of human knowledge there never has been an agent offered to the public which has so easily, piinlessly, and pleasantly cured eo many people regarded by our noble Faculty of medicine aa incurable ; and it cannot now be Slid that professional men have been distance! by ordinary mortals. I glory in the fact that I belong, by birth and education to" the professional class. I regret, however, that the commercial conditions of things renders it necessary that I ohould adopt a system of action at variance with professional etiquette for the sale of my goods. It is, however, a great satisfaction to me thit 'the grandest cure* which could be accomplished anywhere have beea done io the very city and country where the discovery whs made, and I trust that as people get accustomed to the use of the Scottish Oil, we shall tee hundreds ani thousands of sufferirg humanity rejoice again in the vigor and strength of regenerate 1 constitutions. Here follows the most extraordinary list of cures eyer preaeatad to the inhabitants of these colonies:— Fifteen Years a Marttb to Headaohb. July 11,1877. Dear Sir, — It is impossible for auy one Io •xpress his heartfelt gratitude for the relief I now e r joy from a terrible affliction, under which I existed for years I c*n hardly now think of it but with horror. Ic must be a great satisfaction for you to know that your Oils can so quickly and painlessly cure. I shall certainly feel bouad to tell the good news to all my friends. — — James Goodwin. MO Spent, but got No Relief. Tkstimontai,. — Another testimonial respecting Pottie'a Highland Oil has been rtceived by the Agent, Mr C. L. Tweedie. It is as follows: — Sir, for many years I have suffered from rheumatism in the back; and some time ago it coat me over £60 to go to Bydney and have medical advice, without, however, receiving any relief. I determined to try a bottle of Highland Oil, for which you are ag> nt, and have much pleasure in stating that after a few applications 1 was entirely relieved from all pain, and can eaiely recommend it to others suffering from a similar complaint to mine.— John Mddie, Bombala. Lumbago fob 26 Tears. Kyletone, October 7, 1876. To Messrs. White & M'< 'uloch, Kylstone. Gentlemen,— l have much pleasure in iu- j forming you, as Agents for Pottle's Scottish Highland Uil, that the said medicine has been the means of curing me from lumbago, from which I have suffered for the past 26 years, bebg at times scarcely able to crawl, owing to the severity of the d mplaiot. I make this statement feeling convinced that the Oils (S.H.) will cure any one suffering in a like manner. I request that you will give publicity to the above, and remain yours very truly,— John McNeil Beatok. 102, Liverpool-street, Sydney. Dear Fir,— l wa3 laid up for many long months in bed and had tried all the doctors could do for me, but got only woree. At last a man called with a little of Scottish Oil. I was then in bed, suffering terrible agony, with my legs bent under me. I saw no h-.pe for life; but the first bottle of your Oil brought relief, p n d I could crawl about. I stuck to the fomentation. Oils, and hot iron and in two months got the nse of my limbs. I c»n nevf r expect to be perfectly well, for I am an old m»n, but I owe all to the Scottish Highland Oil.— Ahch. M'Eldowny. Newtows Twenty-three years bad with a tumour on my neck, and tried no end of prescriptions, until I saw that an operation was my only chance. Fortunately I heard about the Scottish Oil, and by rubbing regularly, the tumour melted away without any kind of paio.— H. Chase, Newtown. Fbom Sydney Fbeehan's Joubhai,. MIRACULOUS.— A most miraculous cure has come under my notice in Aralnen. A miner in this locality named Duggan had been complaining for years of a swelling on hfs breast, which defied the medical skill of the district. Dr Llewel yn, residing in Braidwood, after vainly experimenting with divers panaceas. &c, advised the patient to go to the Sydney Infirmary. After some time he did as he was counselled, bnt what was the result ? Why, after remaining in the hospital for about nine months under the treatment of the leading medicos, he was pronounced incurable. He returned to Araluen worse in fact than when he went to Sydney, owing, I suppose to the vast quantities of medioine'he had taken, coupled with the Iktigue of such a long overland journey Some months ago Mr Corry (Dr Llewellyn's servant) suggested to Mr Dujrgßn to rub the swelling with "Pottie's Highland Oil.' He did aa was suggested, and wonderful was the result The swelling came to a head in a short time" and Durst, discharging a quantity of mrftter! In one of these discharges a bone came out it being the so!e cause of the swelling as can be testified by the man, whose health has been perfectly restored. He is now able to work aa usual in the claim. Now, the nut lor your Sydney M.D.'s is, how came the bone there? My principal reason for writing this, w to mfcrm those gentlemen who attended Mr Duggan at the Infirmary of the mysterious result.— Araluen Corresponded. Manufactured by J. POTTIB, 263, Eliza-beth-street, Sydney. .SOLE AGENT FOR NELSON— LOUIS ROTHER, J(La(e C.JHabling) TBAFALGAR-BTREET. 1396
