Judgment was given for 7s 3d aud costs £1 163. Orr v. Wiesenhavern. — Action to recover £25 Is 4d, being commission on sale of defendant's farm at Stanley Brook at 5 per cent. Mr Fell appeared for the plaintiff and Mr Bunny for the defendant. The defence was that defendant had told plaintiff that in the event of his selling the land for £500 he was to receive five per cent, whereas defendant had himself sold it, the price being £4!0. A letter, however, was put in by the plaintiff in which he was authorised to act as the agent for the sale. Judgment was given for plaintiff for £20 10s being five per cent on £410, and costs £3 17s.
