A census of the town of Greenville, Miss., fnrnishes a sad chronicle of the awful ravages of the yellow fever. The figures show originally a population of 1350, of whom 260 are dead, 112 sick, 657 convalescent, leaving 323 who are yet to be attacked unless the reign of the scourge shall be cut by frost. In the heyday and sunshine of Jife we treat with contempt tbe warnings of soberminded and well-meaning people ; but when in after years we find we. can no longer trifle with our lives and constitutions, it becomes us to find out for a certainty what are the best, the surest, and the safest medicines to take in all cases of sickness or theatening disease. The cures already effected, and the testimonials received by* the proprietor, warrant tbe assertion that tbere are no known medicine equal to " Goixah's Great Indian Cdees." Sold by all chemists.
