IMPERIAL SCaiEDABUCHNAPPS. Da. Hassall's Re? obt. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54, Holborn Viaduct, E.C. Loudon, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very careiul chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are se forth in a separate report show tbat this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Habt's Schiedam Schnapps w a very superior article of its class, is well purified, aud is quite genuine. (Signed) Author H. Sir,— l have the honor jto report for your information that tbe sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of fut-il or other injuriou-* impurity, and bas evidently been distilled from superior rye gr»in, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this jespect compart s favourably with other samples offered lor sale. It may be advißed as equally! suitable for medical or economic purposes.
