The Wallace sailed for Wanganui last evening. The Charles Edward arrived from Wellington this morning, and will sail for the West Coast on Thursday. The Lady Barkly leaves for Golden Bay at 8 p.m. to day. The Kelson arrived at LytteUon yesterday afternoon, after a good passage from Waitapu. The Taiaroa leaves Manukau to-day, will arrive here to-morrow night, and sail at 1 1 a.m. on Thursday for Wellington and South. The Claud Hamilton, with the Suez mail, arrived at the Bluff yesterday afternoon. She will reach here about Sunday. The Midge, which sailed for Waitapu la3t evening, took a quantity of tramway rails, transhipped from the Helen Denny. The Maori leaves Port Chalmers for iyttelton to-day, and will arrive here on Thursday afternoon, sailing the same day for West Coast ports. The steamer Mullough is telegraphed as having left Westport for Nelson at 3 p.m. yesterday. As she is not one of the fastest of steamers, her appearance here cannot he looked for until this evening. The Peloras leaves Havelock this afternoon, will arrive here early to-morrow morning, aud sail on the return trip the same day. The Celestial Queen has shipped a quantity of her cargo at Port Chalmers, and will take in the remainder at Oamaru She will sail for London about the latter end of the month. The Wellington arrived in harhor this morning at 10.30. She left Wellington at 1.30 p.m. yesterday, and reached Picton at 6.30; sailed ac 11 p.m., and arrived here as ahove, having experienced fine weather throughout the passage. The Wellington returned to Picton and Wellington by the same tide at 12.30 p.m. The s.s. Kennedy, Captain Palmer, returned to port this morning at 7.30. She reports leaving Nelson for Westport on Tuesday, the 10th, at one o'clock, arriving there on Wednesday morning at nine; left for Hokitika same day at 11 p.m., hut owing to a dense fog prevailing at the time, grounded in the river, where she remained until next morning's tide, when she floated off, and proceeded on her way to Hokitika, crossing the bar there at 10 p.m. on Thursday; left for Greymonth on Friday night at 10 o'clock, arriving there same tide; sailed for Westport on Sunday, the Isth s at noon, arriving their same day; Jef t for Kelson yesterday at noon, arriving here as above. Experienced fine weather and smooth water the whole trip round, and reports the West Coast bars in exceptionally good condition. The Kennedy sails for Wellington direct at 8 o'clock tomorrow evening
