London, 9th Afay, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received frcm Mr H. J. Haet. We have subjected a ssmple of the abovenamed article 6o a very careful chemical analysis and examination. ; The results of the analysis, which are se forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength practically free, from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in tolution. It possesses a delicate and Hgreeable aroma, and a pure and' mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior ariicle of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. '■ It hns a pure frngrantodour, nnd is absolutely free from any trace of fu^il or other injurious impurity, and hes evidently been distilled from superior rye gum, olways used instead of malt in the productioa of the choicest qualities of Schnapp*. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect com - par. s favourably with other samples offered lor sale. It may be advised as equally suitable for medical or economic purposes.
