A CORRECTION.
To the Editor op the 'Evening Mail.' Sir— A paragraph appeared in the paper of this morning stating on our authority that the proceeds of Messrs. Davis and Co.'s auction sale, during the past thres days, had realised over £5000 As we do not wish those interested to be m sited we may say that £1,500 is much nearer the amount, and also that no report whatever was supplied by us. We are, &c, Sharp & Pickering, Auctioneers.
