The Lady Barkly arrived from Golden Bay last evening. The Grafton is detained in the Grey by the shallow slate of the bar. The Murray sailed for West Coast this morning with the San Francisco mail. The Wellington sails for Picton and Wellington at half-past six to-morrow morning, and will arrive at Wellington early iu the evening. She leaves on the return trip on Monday. The ship Kentish Tar was loading in London for Nelson when the mail left. She was to sail early this month. The Taiaroa will arrive from Wellington aud South to-morrow morning, and sail for Taranaki and Manukau at 5 p.m. The Ringarooina leaves Wellington this afternoon, will arrive to-morrow morning early, and sail for Wellington, South, aud Melbourne at 6 o'clock in the evening. The Charles Edward and Kennedy are in the Grey. The former leaves this evening for Nelson via Westport and Karamea, and the latter for Nelson to morrow morning. The Union Company's s.s. Taranaki, Captain Malcolm, came into harbor this morning at four o'clock. She left Onehuuga at 1.45 p.m. on Tuesday, and arrived off New Plymouth at 6 am. yesterday, after landing mails, passengers, and cargo she proceeded on to Nelson, ar iving here as above. The Taranaki brings the inward San Francisco mail. After shipping a quantity of fruit she sailed for Wellington and South shortly after six o'clock, The Taranaki ought to arrive at Wellington about 4 o'clock. She leaves there for Lyttelton to-night. Good progress is being made with the Celestial Queen's cargo, a very large quantity of it having been landed, all in first-class condition. The Napier portion is now beginning to show itself among the Nelson lot in the lower hold, but despite this drawback it is confidently expected that the last package for Nelson will be landed about the middle of next week. The Celestial Queen •will take in her full complement of ballast here, as she will nrobably go to Newcastle from Napier.
