PURE VOL *TI!LEiEXTRACT OF THB . EUCALYPTUS GLOBULUS. THE Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus, manufactured solely by Messrs. Sander and Sons, Sandhurst, recommends itself by the following declaration and testimonials:— Epitome of declaration made beforo Moritz Cohn, J.P., on the 17th October, 1877," at Sandhurst :— Three medical gentlemen had attended the son of Mr Raabe, of Itonbark, for nine weeks, and declared that amputation of the leg injured by an axe was absolutely necessary. At this juncture Mr Raabe called on Messrs Sander and Sons,. procuring some of their Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus, and by the application of the same he had the satisfaction of peeing his son within a j fortnight out of all danger, and be has now ] quite recovered. ! I certify thac I. have used Mr .Sander's Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus in all affections of the throat, inflammation, "bronchitis, rheumatic swellings, inflammation of the breasts alter confinement,-' toothache, and ! diarrhoaa, and can strongly recommend it in all cases as stated above. Mr Gieachin, residing near Sydenham Gardens, had a very severe cold in November, could scarcely Dreathe, and could get no relief. Cured after three applications of i Extract. j The same gentleman suffered eight years / from rupture, and all medical skill proved in- / effectual in giving relief. Obermann, residing near the Sand- j hurst Gasworks, suffering irom wounds for / six months, was cured by the ute. of the ( Extract within four weeks. - I A man having his arm bruised severely afc a crushing machine, in Long Gully*, appliejd the Extract, and the accident did ,not • even necessitate as much as an interruption in liis attendance at work. T Mrs Weppner, in Colbinabbla (Bunnymede), informed the Manufacturers that the Extract applied twice restored health to her daughter, eleven years of age, who bad .been rushed and trampled upon by a cow. ; In November Mr Reeves, from the, Rifleman's Arms, Back Creek, brought information of a cureoi delirium caused by a sunstroke, which took place in the family of Mr Ryan, butcher, of Baok Creek. The wife of Mr Fickel suffered in the bend of the knee from a swelling which had formed a lump of considerable size, disabling her from attending to any work. She removed the swelling completely by a continued application of the Extract. The Donald Times of Ist December, 1877, etstes:— Last week tha eldest boy of Mr Morgan awoke in the night crying with earache. The Extract was appliei, iand the little fellow was cured anu asleep in teu minutes. Mr French, of Corack Station, suffered from bad earache and pains in the head. Two drops of the Extract wero put in the ear, and some rubbed round the tar, and the pain instantly disappeared. Mr Croker, of Mount Jeffcott, was laid up for nearly a fortnight with infUmmation of the eye-?, and was in gteat agony. The Extract was used, ani in a few days the inflammation disappeared. The Evening Times has reported cures of neuralgia, by the use of the Extract, at Geelong, The Extract, which is of a brilliant yellow gold-color, and need not be confuunied with the tirpentine-iike preparation of the gum that is to be found in the trade, has been applied, with mat ked beneficial effect to severe bruises, sprains, all sort) of wounds, cuts, scaldings, and its chief property — nameiy to check all inflammation — accounts for tha cures referred to. An equally important quality of the Extract is its efficacy as a disinfectant.
