The Westport Times of Tuesday last says:— There was some merrymaking aboard the s.s. Kennedy,;on her coming into port on Saturday evening.. Mr W. C. Hodgson, the genial purser had takeu unto himself a wife, at Greymouth, aud she was returning with him to Nelsou/ His Westport friends, at least .many of them who had an inkling of the suspicious event, resolved to honor it with all customary festive observance, aud thus ifc came about that one of the merriest little gatherings that has occurred aboard the Kennedy for a long while,happened on Saturday night.
