- : MAILS CLOSE. Satcrday, December 1. "For Westport, Greymouth, and Hokitika— per p.s. Charles Edward, at 8 p.m. For Wanganui and Patea— per Awaroa, at 10 a.m. On and after the lsc December a Post Office will be opened at the Custom House. It is requested that all letters meant for delivery there may be addressed " Port Post Office, Nelson." Paid telegrams will be received there for transmission to the Telegraph Office. SYDNEY J.
