Keroiene, 2s; rice, £23, firm; tobacco, lg 4d; sugar, £33 to £34 ; caudles, 9|d. . Nov. 2. Private advices report the suspension of the Bank of New Caledonia. Melbourne, Nov. 2. The question of the payment of members is occupying the attention of both branches of the Legislature. A conflict of the two Chambers is probable. Chester is a firm favorite for the Derby at seven to four, First King four to one; ten to one agst any of the others. Woodlands and Savanaka are favorites for the Cup, Haricot being next in demand. Woodland has been scratched for the Derby.
