The little cells imbedded in the lining of the stomach exude an acid fluid esssential to digestion. When these cells become abnormally excited, they pour forth an excess of this fluid, producing acidity of the stomach and the stinging sensation called heartburn. This cause of indigestion, as well as its consequences — flatulence and biliousness, is speedly obviated by the tranquiliziug influence upon the nerves of the stomach of Udolpho Wolfe's Schiedam Aromatic ScHNAprs. — Advfc.
