The Murray did not leave Weatporfc last Bight, owing to the rough state of the weather. The Wallace left Blenheim for Nelaon thia morning, will arrive to-night, and sail for Wanganui on Monday evening. The Hawea left Wellington for Picton and NeUon this morning she will sail for' the ftorth on Monday afternoon. The boiler was taken out of the Lyttelton yesterday. and lauded on the Albion Wharf. To -a ay has almost been a blank amongst the shipping, caused by the unpropitious state of toe weather, which has interfered' with the arrivals and departures, only one or two email coasters figuring under the heading of arrivals. It is exceedingly doubtful whether the barque Melrose, which for tbe past three days has been loadiug with potatoes at Motueka lor Sydney, and which was to sail to-day, has taken hur departure. Kenuedy arrived alongside the Albion Wharf at 11,50 to-day. She left Nelson on the 17th instant at 11.30 a.m.; experienced freah b.W. winds to Westport, arriving there on the 18th at 6am; landed cargo, and left at 10 a.m. same day, arriving off the Grey at 6 p.m ; dodged on and off until! iv p.m., and there being a sea running, and seeing no chance of crossing the bar, that tide, the Kennedy came to an anchor. Got under way on Saturday, and crossed the bar at. 9 a.m. through a heavy sea; was detained in Grey mouth until Thursday, waiting for a chance to work the Hokuika bar, but finding no possibility of crossing these spring tides, discharged llokitika cargo at (jre>m ,uth, and left for Wcßtport at 3 p.m., arriving ac 8.45 p.in ; crossed the bar at Up m. ia company with tho Murray; left yesterday at 3 p.m , experiencing thick weather, with northerly wind and heavy sea, until arrival herd as above At Chatham Dockyard the first keel plate has beeu laid of the arinor-p'atei turret ship Agatuetnnoii, 8492 tone, 60u0 horea power. Tue Agamemnon will carry tight guns, and her buiiding will occupy about three years. . The inquiry into the collision between the s.B. Queensland and the s.s.
