TELEGRAPHIC INTELLIGENCE. [Per Grev_li__'s Telegram Compakt.l PROVINCIAL. Wellington, October 26. Mr. Reynolds has joined the Ministry as Commissioner of Customs. Mr. Bathgate takes -Commissioner of Stamps, and a new law office not yet settled. Arrived : Bahington, from London, with Government immigrants and navvies for Messrs, Brogden. A general meeting of the shareholders of the Freight Company has been held, when it was resolved to support the directors in carrying out the original programme, and leaving the details in their hands. Great dissatisfaction is expressed at past de'ays. Mr. Gifford, the Editor of the Post, who went as special representative for Greville to Melbourne, has made excellent arrangem nts. The special London and Australian telegrams, will be received regularly, and supplied to Greville's subscribers without extra charge. Greville's manager will now go round the Colony to establish agencies and increase the efficiency of the service. ■ .
