RUSSIAN WOMEN.

According to -a now law recently enacted in Russia, a diploma of a "highest school" gives to women the same rights as to men. With regard to remuneration, thoy have also the same rights as men, and henceforth women teachers shall teach in all tho schools for boys. Women who have passed university examination.? are entitled to degrees of Teachers of Arts and Doctor. These diplomas confer on women all the rights which have previously been the privilcgo of men—the right to teach, to be engaged as university professors, to occupy the office of university rectors, deans., etc., and to be elected members of the s'eate council.
