Per Press Association. ASHBURTON, Dec. 22. Edwin Clifford Shea, married, a postman, was sentenced to three months’ hard labour on each of 12 charges of stealing letters containing money of a total value of £l9 10s. The offences range over several mouths, the money being spent on drink in sly-grog shops. The sentences are to De concurrent.
