Mainly Fair m the East; Intermittent Rain in West Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. A deep depression crossed the Dominion last night and is being followed by two secondaries. The pressure is rising over south-eastern Australia. Winds: Moderate to strong northwest to south-west reaching gale force at times. Seas (New Zealand waters): Bough about Cook and Foveaux Straits; rather rough to rough on the West Coast; generally moderate on the East Coast. Eastern Tasman Sea: Strong west to south-west winds reaching gale force in places; seas rough. Weather: Mainly fair in eastern districts but with isolated local showers; cloudy to overcast and with intermittent rain in districts with a westerly aspect; thunder probable in places. Temperatures warm.
