The Morning Post’s Paris correspondent states that the scale on which Germany is fortifying the left bank of tne Rhine is shown by a Strasbourg report villages in the Bauxnholder and Meisenheim districts of the Palatinate are being evacuated, the inhabitants being settled in Mecklenberg.
