Thirteen insurgent aeroplanes three times bombed Madrid between 11 p.m. and midnight. Non-combatants have been ordered to quit Madrid within seventytwo hours, otherwise they will be forcibly removed. The League's Health Committee, if ter a fortnight's visit to Spain, emphasises the necessity of providing two hundred motor coaches to carry out the evacuation of half of Madrid’s 1.200,000 population, who are exposed to shelling and aerial bombing.
