Feilding Tennis Club
YANKEE TOURNAMENT. Owing to inclement weather yesterday morning, the Feilding Tennis Club’s tourney, as advertised, was postponed. However, in the afternoon enthusiastic players instituted an impromptu tournament, the afternoon passing all too quickly in tho enjoyable and interesting series of events. Finalists proved to be Mrs V. Lawrence and A. Burr, playin • Miss J. Burnett and P. Webster. After a particularly hard game, Miss Burnett and P. Webster ran out winners.
