From Our Own Correspondent Personal. Miss Dulcie Perrett, "Candown,” has returned from a round of visits paid to friends in the Hawke's Bay,and Wellington provinces. Mr and Mrs J. W. Beattie have taken up residence in Sanson. Mr Beattie has been appointed head teacher of the Sanson School. The many friends of Mrs Thomas Sanson wi.’l be pleased to learn that she is making good progress after her recent serious indisposition. Mr S. Jefferies, who has been under treatment for a year, has been compelled to enter the Palmerston North public ; Tennis Club Dance. On Tuesday evening a meeting of the social committee of the Sandon Tennis Club was held to finalise arrangements for the club's forthcoming flannel dance, which is to be held on January 29. The chairman, Mr A. Sanson, presided over a good attendance It is anticipated the function will be a popular event, as ft is some time since a dance has been held.
