New Season’s Wheat

One or two lines of Canterburygrown wheat have been offered millers this last few days, the first being from the Waipara district. The Waipara wheat was of the federation variety, and a good sample, the firm purchasing it being well pleased with the quality. Lt was plump and bright and weighed 621 b to the bushel. The particular farm on which this wheat was grown generally produces the earliest crop in the province, and this season the sample was offered three days earlier than was the case last season.
